Memories of my Grandma

Happy Birthday Grandma! Your 20 leap years old!
When i was younger, i remember all the times we came up to McGee Creek and we would play in the creek, fish, help you clean bathrooms, Make stick fishing poles, eat Root beer floats for dinner, followed by s'mores. You always made it so fun to be there and you were so kind to all the guests and to us kids. You loved playing games and teaching us to be good sports, if we lost to you. You were the best at games, Grandma, and you still are! I remember going into Bishop and you would take us to Schatt's and Kmart and you would always let us pick out a toy or something fun. You sang with such enthusiasm at church, like you personally knew what all those big words meant. Hearing you and my mom sing instilled a love of singing in me. I hope i have and continue to magnify that talent in honor of you. Thanks! You knew how to talk to me and you are such a good listener! You have the best belly laugh ever and it always makes me laugh more. I think you were given such a great laugh to compliment al of Grandpa's one-liners and silly stories! You two are so special to me.
You showed me what it is to love eternally! You gave me some good advice before i got married you said to think about my husband's needs first and not to be selfish. You were a great example of what you preached, in that regard. I have learned many qualities from you or your children- especially the one of loving everyone- even when they might not really deserve it! Christ loved the sinner just as much as He did his followers- and you love people the same way. Your smile lights up the room and you forgive everyone so easily. You have so much love surrounding you and I am so honored to be called your Granddaughter! Again, i love you and Happy 80th!
